Pavlina Theodorou is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Researcher based in Cyprus, dedicated to advancing health and well-being through evidence-based dietetics. Her journey began with a personal struggle with an eating disorder, which shaped her mission to help others build a healthier relationship with food and body image.

She graduated with a BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) from the University of Nicosia, where her thesis explored obesity and the Mediterranean diet. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Clinical Dietetics (Hons), with a focus on eating disorders and clinical nutrition care.

Her academic path includes roles as a Nutrition Researcher at the University of Nicosia (Eating Disorders) and at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology (Microbiome). Through dietetic placements in hospitals, she has gained extensive clinical experience, from analyzing anthropometric and biochemical data to providing medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, renal disease, gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and eating disorders. She has also worked in community nutrition, advising individuals on healthy eating, developing personalized plans, and managing nutrition-related digital content.

Her dedication to professional growth is reflected in her participation in international and national conferences, including:

  • ESPEN (European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism), Milano 2024 & Prague 2025

  • ISENC (International Sport & Exercise Nutrition Conference), Manchester 2023

  • Be Active, Nicosia 2024

Pavlina’s vision extends to academic research, with a long-term goal of pursuing post-doctoral specialization in Eating Disorders, integrating professional expertise with personal experience to improve care for those affected.

Beyond her clinical and research roles, she also writes books and articles, sharing healthy recipes, practical nutrition advice, and lifestyle guidance to make nutrition accessible and inspiring for all.
